The Kinesis Freestyle2 Split Keyboard features a unique split design that can be used joined together via a pivot or fully separated using a 22 cm or 50 cm connecting lead. This flexibility allows the two keyboard modules to be positioned at shoulder width and perpendicular to the home row of keys, helping to keep the wrists straight and avoid abduction and ulnar deviation.

By enabling each half to be positioned according to individual body size and working style, the Freestyle2 adapts to the specific ergonomic needs of each user. This high level of adjustability promotes comfort and helps reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI).

Kinesis VIP3 Accessory Kit

The Kinesis VIP3 Accessory Kit is designed to enhance the functionality of the Kinesis Freestyle2 keyboard, making it even more comfortable and user-friendly. This specialist ergonomic kit attaches easily to the base of the Freestyle2 keyboard, enabling quick, consistent adjustment to 5°, 10°, or 15° slope settings. These reproducible angles allow users to fine-tune their setup to suit individual ergonomic needs.

• Left and Right V-Lifters:
  Allow fast adjustment between 5°, 10°, and 15° tenting angles, helping to reduce forearm pronation and position wrists and forearms more comfortably.
• Integrated Padded Palm Supports: Provide supportive cushioning to help maintain neutral wrist posture while resting.
• Flexible Configuration: Can be used with or without the pivot/tether. The pivot tether connects the two keyboard modules; removing it allows greater separation where required.
• Stable Typing Platform: Creates a solid, secure base with no “bounce,” ensuring a confident and comfortable typing experience.
